HIPPOCRENE 2005 Online Jury starts soon!
Get involved with the upcoming publication of Hippocrene, the WUMS literary and arts magazine, by being a juror for this year's online submissions review.
As in past years, we've had over 100 total submissions of graphic art, poetry, and prose that need to be evaluated by 10-15 people drawn from students and faculty. Reviews are anonymous and conducted via a password-protected website.
If you are interested in being a juror, contact litmag [at] medicine.wustl.edu or Dana Sacco at saccod [at] msnotes.wustl.edu.
Hippocrene 2005 is due out in December.

Greetings Potential Jurors,
As you may be aware, we are working on the newest issue of Hippocrene, and planning to distribute it in early December. All of the pieces submitted to Hippocrene undergo a juried selection process. And this is where you come in.
You're receiving this email either because you've been a juror in the past, are on some other arts committee, or just because we thought you'd be good at it. So you can decide if it is something you would be interested in/willing to do.
If so, I would send you an email with instructions to access the password protected site. The site contains all written pieces and visual art being considered for this issue of Hippocrene. An evaluation form would be attached to the email, including a set of instructions and a table into which you enter your evaluation. (Just yes or no, and then rank it 1-9). You can provide comments if you wish, but none are necessary. All responses will be kept confidential.
It would be great if we could have the evaluation forms back in a week or two - 2nd years, you can wait until after exams. (but it might make good study breaks.)
If you're interested, just let me know, and I'll send instructions to access the site and the evaluation form!
Thanks,
Dana Sacco
