The conference had arranged a whale-watching outing on the second day. We were able to spot five or six orca whales belonging to one of the three resident pods (families) in the area. If you look closely, you can see a fin between the two boats.
A calm morning the day of our departure.

Almost back to the mainland, and the clouds are starting to clear. There's Rainier in the distance.
