We took a short hike on our day in Puerto Montt on an island across from the harbor. Here Michael hunts for blackberries with an odd cross (that lights up at night) in the distance
Michael, Amy and Ashley consult the guidebook.
Ashley snaps some pictures of Puerto Montt before our departure. The boat would take us from there to Puerto Natales, the closest town to Torres del Paine National Park.
A tremedous sunset over the Pacific greeted us on our first night on the boat.
Our course took us through the islands and fjords of the Patagonian coastline. Most often, the scenery was obscured by clouds.
When it wasn't raining, we were out on the deck admiring the view. When conditions were not as kind, we stayed indoors and played Euchre.
